We have various groups that meet during the week:
On the 1st Thursday of the month we meet in the Church Hall at 7.45pm to pray together for the concerns of our Church, our Parish, our nation and the world.
These meet in homes within a couple of minute’s walk of the Church. The purpose of our home groups is for us to get together in groups of about 8-12 to study the Bible, pray for one another and so encourage each other in our Christian life. We have three evening groups and a daytime women’s group.
Each term we run this 7 week course which is designed to give people the chance to think through what lies at the heart of the Christian Faith. We meet in a home and so it is very informal. No one is asked to sing, pray or read out loud. The course uses Mark’s Gospel to investigate who Jesus is, what he came to do and what it means for us to follow him today. For more information look at the Christianity Explored site on our links page. For details of the next course please contact James at
Wednesday 10am Midweek Communion Service
This is a quiet, said Communion Service using the Book of Common Prayer. We meet in the Church and it is followed by refreshments in the Church Hall. The sermons follow the Evening Service sermon series.
