You are warmly invited to come on the St Andrew’s Men’s Getaway; the dates this year are Fri 22nd & Sat 23rd Jan 2027. We’re heading back to the Shekinah Christian Centre near Pendle (www.shekinah.org.uk) and the first wave will aim to leave to arrive at about 3pm on Fri 22nd and we will return to Preston by 6pm on Sat 23rd. If you’re not able to make it that early on Friday, please just join us as soon as you can on Friday afternoon/evening, or if you’re only able to join us on Saturday, either before or after breakfast, that’s fine.
We are going full board so that we don’t have to worry about our meals. All bedding and towels are provided by the Centre; most of the rooms are twin or triple rooms with only a couple of singles (please ask if you have a preference!). They look after us very well with delicious home-cooked meals and provide plenty of drinks and biscuits.
Richard East is going to be joining us again and will lead a couple of the sessions, helping us to grow as disciples of Jesus as men together in our church family.
The costs are as follows:
Full getaway & all meals: £90
Saturday inc. Breakfast): £25
Saturday not inc. Breakfast: £20
We're aware that the cost increase might be a challenge for some; if you'd like to come but the cost is too much for you, please speak to James. You don't need to be able to pay until nearer the time.
